“Rob’s work went above and beyond what we imagined, creating intricately detailed, responsive audio environments combining music, ambiance and sound effects to help create a realistic 18th century world. Rob is a hands-on, precision artist who knows what needs to happen for his creations to come to life”

Dan Silvers, CEO

2014 Independent Film Festival of Boston

I had a blast composing for this year’s Independent Film Festival of Boston’s TV spot and screening opener. (Those “Welcome, here are our sponsors, no tweeting” bits that play before each screening.) It’s the only time I’ve ever heard applause after an opener, which was largely due to the performance of that salty dutch seaman Frans Rijnbout! Fun fact – to date, this is the only place you can hear me sing on a recording. Who new I could do pirate?

It was great getting to work again on these with Larry Andersen of Spot Editorial and the IFFB staff. We also worked together on the 2011 festival.
