Edgar Allan Poe: Buried AliveFollowing a nice run on the festival circuit, Edgar Allan Poe: Buried Alive got it’s PBS American Masters’ premiere on October 30th, just in time for Halloween! The film was written and directed by Eric Stange. I provided orchestrations and co-wrote a few cues for the Kusiak Music score.

The film explores the misrepresentations of Poe as a drug-addled madman akin to the narrators of his horror stories, due in in large part to a high-profile obituary filled with falsehoods written by his literary rival Rufus W. Griswold.
