Seagull

“We all have to do what we have to do.”

The WWII era short-film “Seagull” has been making it’s way through the festival circuit, having been an official selection of both the Albuquerque Film and Music Experience (June, 2017) and the LA Femme Film Festival (October, 2017).

In the film, a mysterious frenchwoman arrives on the English coast with an important message for the resistance, encountering both aid and suspicion. The film features an all female cast dealing with a complicated scenario often reserved for male characters. It is a great example of a short-film taking on the Bechdel test, and I’m so happy to have gotten to work with Catharine Jones and Catherine Friday of 2Cats Productions on the film.
