It was a treat to work on this piece to complement Tatyana Bronstein’s film of dancer Maria Baranova’s meditative performance. I interpreted the piece to be about using art to maintain one’s center during the covid era, and approached it minimally with a simple harp tone poem, leaving space for the natural sound to come through.
